I seem to have been on an oil bender recently eh? Squalene, MCT and now back to coconut.

I thought this delicious product deserved a little post of it’s own. The reason for this being that I was so skeptical and honestly laughed at people who used it, that is, before I tried it myself.

Why?

I just could not wrap my head about why someone would pay a premium of $38 dollars for a jar of just coconut oil that I could buy in the supermarket for $12. Well, now I know.  I did know that grades of coconut oil varies wildly like anything else but I did not know what a difference it would make in the absorption of the product.

Okay, so now I know, this is not your standard kitchen coconut oil.  Like fine wine or olive oil, the quality as well as where and how it is harvested makes all the difference.
